National Volunteer Week 2021

Did you know that it’s currently National Volunteer Week?

Every year at the end of April, Volunteer Canada drives the momentum of the volunteer movement across the country! This year, April 18th-24th is a week to focus on the volunteers across Canada and the immense effort they contribute to many great causes.

Which brings us to CASARA and our volunteers. This week is to recognize the exceptional dedication, time, and affect volunteers have in playing a crucial part in Search and Rescue.

There is over 9.985 million square kilometers in Canada, which is no small feat to watch over. It’s because of volunteer assistance and being a part of CASARA nationally that we continue to save lives across Canada.

We THANK each and every one of you for your volunteerism and what you do. Whether you are a long service member or you have just recently joined, just know that your volunteerism is much appreciated and furthermore celebrated.
